Former Member: Samuel King, French horn
Samuel King was born in Chicago, Illinois, and was educated at U.C. Berkeley (BA in Biophysics), California State University at Hayward (MS in Statistics), and Western Seminary in Los Gatos, California (Master of Divinity).
From his youth, Sam played principal horn in most orchestras he has been a part of. In recent years, Sam has played with the Palo Alto Chamber Orchestra, Stanford University Symphony Orchestra, the Peninsula Symphony, the Master Sinfonia, and the orchestra at his church, where he also contributes in several shepherding and teaching ministries.
Sam was a founding member of the Menlo Brass Quintet in 1982, and played with the group for 24 years.
